Lea Spindell, a senior at Campo Verde High in Arizona, won the girls elite 400 meters in 56.76 seconds at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Spindell also placed 12th overall in the elite 200 meters, clocking 25.35 seconds to take sixth in her section.
