Martin Breinholt, a senior at Campo Verde High, placed second in the Division 2 boys championship race at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state final at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Breinholt covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:41.8 to lead Camp Verde to fourth place overall with 158 points.
